Executive Compensation - A Practical Case Study

Join us for a different approach to updating executive compensation practices for the Compensation Committee.

You will be given a case study based on current issues facing Compensation Committees, and asked, as the Committee, to make a recommendation to the full Board.  To provide a critique and observations, from the various points your Board will have to face, we have assembled a panel representing Directors, the Institutional Investor community and compensation consulting.  

Our panel will consist of:

Anne SzostakAnne Szostak, the founder of Sostak Partners, an executive coaching and human resources consulting firm.  Anne also spent 31 years with Fleet/Boston Financial Group where she served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Fleet-Maine, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fleet Bank-Rhode Island, and Corporate Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of FleetBoston Financial Group.  Ms. Szostak has substantial expertise in compensation and governance matters, and audit and investments through her 20 years of experience on various public company boards. Among them, Ms. Szostak served or has served as a director of the following public companies: Idexx; Tupperware Brands Corporation,  Belo Corp; ChoicePoint Corporation; SFN Group, and Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. Ms. Szostak also serves on the boards of several local, regional and national non-profit organizations

John RoeJohn Roe,  Executive Director of ISS Corporate Services, where he is responsible for leading the corporate side of ISS, advising companies with regard to ISS policies.  Mr. Roe has previously been with the Corporate Executive Board, McKinsey, and with the Office of Presidential Personnel at the White House.  He holds an MBA from Rice University in finance and strategy.




Ted BuyniskiTed Buyniski,  is a partner in Radford, an Aon Hewitt company, and has more than 25 years of providing executive compensation support to Boards of Directors.  He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar, and serves on the Board of a privately-held software company.
