Overview

Our online infrastructure currently faces approximately 500,000 cyber attack attempts....every minute. The Internet of Things provides an unprecedented opportunity for hackers. We are pleased to host a Cybersecurity panel featuring Dr. Peter M. Fonash, Chief Technology Officer for the Office of Cybersecurity and Communications in the Department of Homeland Security. Joining Dr. Fonash is Dan McGahn, CEO and Director of American Superconductor.  Mr. McGahn is a key panelist as he is the only outspoken American CEO who has publicly and relentlessly discussed his experience of China’s intellectual property (IP) theft. His appearances include a very candid interview on 60 Minutes with Leslie Stahl. Rounding out the panel is Sophie Vandebroek, Xerox’s Chief Technology Officer, who also serves as the sole director of PARC Inc, a Xerox Company providing custom R&D services to enterprises, startups and government agencies..  Hot topics may include hacks of mobile payment and other non-traditional payment systems, data manipulation and sabotage, open source vulnerabilities, and ever-more-sophisticated phishing pitfalls.
